BodyOS is a preventive health assessment platform powered by artificial intelligence and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). By analyzing facial and tongue images, the App provides personalized health insights and wellness recommendations.
We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and safeguard your data, as well as the rights you have regarding your information.

These images are transmitted securely to our servers for AI analysis. After analysis is complete, only the analysis results are retained — original images are deleted.
2.3 Device and Usage Information
- Device model and operating system version

- Camera permission (required for capturing analysis photos)
We use your information solely for the following purposes:
- Health Analysis: Our AI models analyze your facial and tongue images to generate five-organ meridian assessments, bio-age estimates, TCM pattern differentiation, health hotspots, and personalized wellness recommendations
- Account Management: Creating and maintaining your account, sending email verification codes, managing family members
- Report Generation: Producing health reports, recording scan history, and calculating health trends over time
- Service Improvement: Anonymized statistical analysis to improve AI model accuracy and user experience
- Security: Verifying user identity, preventing fraud, and maintaining system security
4.1 Storage Methods
- Local Storage: Some data (daily check-in records, user preferences, cached reports) is stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage (MMKV) and is never uploaded to our servers
- Server Storage: Health analysis results, account information, and scan records are stored on secure cloud servers with encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted storage
4.2 Retention Period
- Account information: Retained until you delete your account
- Health reports: Retained during your account's active period for historical trend viewing
- Original facial/tongue images: Deleted from servers immediately after analysis; only results are retained
- Local cache: Automatically cleared when the app is uninstalled
4.3 Security Measures

5.1 Third-Party AI Analysis Service — OpenAI
To provide our core health analysis feature, your facial and tongue photographs are transmitted to our secure server (api.tcmagent.com), then processed by OpenAI for AI-powered analysis. Specifically:
- What data is shared: Facial photos (front, left, right views), tongue photographs, and basic health profile data (age, gender, height, weight)
- Who receives the data: OpenAI (https://openai.com) — the AI model provider that performs the image analysis. OpenAI acts as a data processor under their API data usage policy
- Purpose: The photos are analyzed by OpenAI's AI models to generate health insights based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnostic principles
- OpenAI data usage: Under OpenAI's API data usage policy (https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy), customer API data is NOT used to train OpenAI's models. Data submitted via the API is retained for up to 30 days for abuse and misuse monitoring, then permanently deleted
- Data retention by us: Original photographs are permanently deleted from our servers after analysis is complete. Only the resulting analysis data (health scores, text reports) is retained
- Your control: The app will ask for your explicit consent before any photo is uploaded or shared. You may decline, in which case no photo data will be sent
Family member data is only visible within your family account system and is never made available to third parties.
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
